School Meals in Laconia

Picture
Meals provided to students in Laconia meet or exceed the requirements established by the USDA's Food Based Meal Pattern and the standards set forth in the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010.  All snack items comply with the USDA's Smart Snack regulations, which took effect in 2014.

At the elementary level, offerings from the salad bar are included with each lunch.  Items vary by the day, and include many fresh fruits and vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower florets, baby carrots, green and red peppers.  Children are encouraged to help themselves to the salad bar as a part of their lunch.

At the Laconia Middle School, there are several meal choices available including salad and sandwich options in addition to the main meal of the day.  Fresh fruits and or vegetables as well as many whole grain items are incorporated into the menus.

Laconia High School also has many daily options, including several hot meal  choices, premium salads and made to order sandwiches at the deli. We also offer  a selection of soups during the winter months as well as several a la carte options.  Meals also include fresh items from the mini salad  bars.
